My SketchUp window won’t maximize after reopening my file, the right-click menu and the File menu don’t respond

After saving and reopening my file in SketchUp, the window fails to maximize, making it difficult to work. Although I found a way to make it full screen, I encountered additional issues—when I right-click, the context menu does not appear, preventing me from taking necessary actions. Additionally, when I try to access the File menu, it does not open, which limits my ability to save, export, or perform other essential tasks.

Would you please elaborate a bit more on the problems. Can you please provide a screenshots?

How can you save it if you have a

?

Which window fails? What way used to maximize it though?

Are you using two or more screens (monitors)?
If so, it is possible that the menus in question appear on the other screen. Would you please check if this is the case?
Unfortunately, this is a known issue in Sketchup 2024. The 2025 version has recently been released, fixes this issue.

I attempted to capture screenshots to illustrate my issue, but they didn’t effectively convey the problem. Yesterday, I was using multiple virtual desktops on my single monitor and have since closed them. I saved my work in SketchUp using the Ctrl + S shortcut. Currently, SketchUp appears in the taskbar but doesn’t open in fullscreen mode. I managed to resize the window to occupy half of the screen. In this state, I can move or rotate objects; however, right-clicking doesn’t bring up the context menu, preventing further editing.

Now that I sent you the screenshot I saw two displays open. Everything is alright now, thank you for your help
