My selections disappear when I click on the Move tool

I have just downloaded SketchMake and am going through the Tutorials learning about the program. When I click on the move tool my selections disappear so I can’t pull up the roof (in this case). Any ideas about why I’m having this problem?

Could you share the SKP file for what you’ve drawn?

Well I’ve just barely gotten started as I’m watching the tutorial part 2 and am duplicating what it shows as I watch it. Don’t really have anything to send at this point.

Are you moving or push pulling a face?
