Hi I am new to sketchup so please excuse lack of basics when I select the push / pull tool after selecting the ridge line as in video 2 my selection cancels out and then I cannot raise the roof can you help I have only just downloaded sketchup make so it should be the current version all help appreciated
From your description it sounds like you need to use the Move tool, not the Push/pull.
P/P works on faces not edges.
