I saved my sketchup file yesterday but today when im trying to open it ,it shows that it is not a 3d model and my file is not opening, even i tried changing the .skb to skp. but still not opening, also tried changing the file location. I have attached my file please @colin try helping me, thanks.
well that is not a sketchup model. that is an empty box filled with 0s
meaning something broke and only the husk of your file was kept.
check for a skb file next to it, rename it as skp and try it.
if it’s a no go, maybe you have a backup solution activated on your machine. if not, then it’s all lost.
as an advice for the future, make versions of your file. from time to time, save as or save as copy and make a copy so you have a set point in time to return to.
