can u guys help me, i tried to open this file and “This does not appear to be a SketchUp model!”
so confused please anyone help me
@colin can u help me please
That file is 100% zeros. Do you have the SKB backup file?
Are any of the other files in the same folder showing problems? I mean, even files that are not SketchUp models.
i rename the file skb to skp, and new notif is “failed to open document”
this is the skb file
@colin help me please huhu so sad
You need to change “.skb” into “.skp”… not add .skp after the .skb.
Also, what is your license type and what version are you actually using?
About 10% of the SKB is also zeros. Whatever it was that wiped out the whole SKP had started to erase the file on the previous save.
Aaron, the files were made with the Windows desktop version of 2024.0.2. I am unsure of what the license type will be.
An answer from @mariohusain to Colin’s question might be very interesting! If other files in the directory were affected, the cause of corruption is not likely to be SketchUp.
