When i render in 2d my images turn up pixelated and chunky. does anyone know how to fix this? 
How are you rendering the image? It just looks like an image from SketchUp and it looks like you have heavy profile edges turned on in the style. Setting them to 1 or even turning off Profiles and maybe Edges may help.

Try doubling your export size/resolution to 2500 px wide.and make sure your line thickness stays set to ‘1’.
