Move (by 305mm exactly)

Hi,

I want to move an object not by the move feature on my eyes, but I want to move an object for example up by 305mm exactly.

Select the object, get the move tool, click and release on an appropriate point on the object, move in the direction you want it to move, let go of the mouse and type 305mm and hit enter.

Yes that’s what I tried to do, by typing 305mm but it is not letting me to type.

Don’t try to type in the box, just let go of the mouse and type and finish with enter.

It’s a common mistake, I did it myself when learning.
Never type in the box, just type in mid air for everything.

This is another important point and often ignored by beginners, especially if you want to use inferences for the movement…
