Since the last upgrade to Version 25.0.659 I cannot properly move and copy objects anymore.
Once the object has been copied using “M” and “Alt-key” on Mac the object is copied but has no faces anymore, everything looks one object.
If I do the same with “copy” - “paste” command then everything is fine
this is a simple object of a cube to show what’s going on.
any solution to this ??

What happens if you select the object, tap M for the Move tool and then tap (don’t hold) Option? Do you then get the entire object? Is the first box contained in a group or component?

Hi, that’s the way I do it, select the object , then M and alt when i want to copy it without holding it
if the object is a group or component then it works fine.
Ensure you are selecting everything including the edges.
Try Option instead of Alt.
Indeed, on the Mac it is Option Key.
alt is the option key for mac, I’ve been using this already for +10 years this way, suddenly it doesn’t work anymore.
There is a weird bug that happens and has been logged where SketchUp sort of forgets what it was doing… (on Mac).
Try this next time is happens:
CTRL S
CTRL TAB to another application
CRRL TAB back to SketchUp
This happens to me maybe 10 times a day…
