More Sketchup updates are great, but nothing for DCs

I am wondering if there is any plan to ever do anything in terms of updating/improving the dynamic components extension? I also am wondering if there is any software out there that offers something similar? Just thinking about my business long term as I rely on DCs pretty heavily. Have seen a lot more updates from the Sketchup team lately, which is awesome, but no mention of DCs…
