Modeling advice

I can someone kindly let me know the simplest method to use when modeling this display attached, it has curve edge face on top profile and radius on sides.
The model is to scale.

probably like that.

I’d make 2 volumes (solids), one of the global top view, one of the side view, then I’d intersect them.

bottom part, just offset it and a quick pushpull.
and finally, smoothen everything.

be careful if you’re using the lines from the dwg. on the side view, this arc is slightly incorrect. you need to select it and move it just a bit.

other than that, it’s really straightforward.

minor things really.

Hi thank you. Thats so straightforward amazing ! …what about the rim its 3mm thick? then the acrylic insert

pretty much the same way.

you can keep cutting parts using solid tools.

this is making the “outer shell” of the object.

now if you’re planning on building an exact replica in your model, you’ll need to add all the extra elements piece by piece.

No worries I’ve figured it out the subtract tool !

in builds like that, it pays to copy your object a few times.
one is the “main assembly” object.

that one will be cut to pieces to make the top transparent part.
that one will be used to add another piece…

you don’t need to work everything out from one single object in one single step. only the result matters

Thank you. I wasn’t sure how you created the larger element here. So I did it differently. I took the top element and bottom element ( from the previous video step) then joined them overlapping 6mm then intersect …vois là Merci - thank you so much i was doing things all wrong before.
