Model is transparent and i cant turn it off no matter what i search what other forums say

please help, my xray isnt on and i tried the ‘K’ key which didnt work, i have searched everywhere for a solution and none has worked. This happened after my model was suddenly zoomed out and i had to zoom in to finally find my model as i was lost in the file. I dont know what to do but i would appreciate any help. I have tried changing the material opacity as well.

I cant use the orient faces function maybe because i am using a trial version of sketchup. Please help me it is very urgent.

Looks like you’ve accidentally changed your style to wireframe :+1:

Web or desktop version?

If you are trialing the desktop version, check that SketchUp is using a compatible graphics card and that its driver is up to date. If your computer has an integrated graphics solution (in your CPU) you might try switching to the Classic graphics engine and restarting SketchUp. Some AMD graphics cards have a driver bug where all materials with any amount of transparency display as totally transparent.

If you are using the Web version as per your profile, you might try a different browser. Chrome seems to get least complaints.

i was already using the classic graphics and switched from new graphics to classic graphics. It still did not solve my problem. I cant pinpoint the exact problem which is why it is hard to figure out what i pressed wrong. I am also unable to select and edit groups

Nvm!!! I changed the camera from Parallel Projection to Perspective and it worked, it is back to normal. Thanks for your help anyway.

Fix your forum profile please. You have contradictory information regarding which version of SketchUp you are using.

Don’t do your modeling with the Camera set to Parallel Projection.
