Model dissapears after changing scale

Hello everybody.

I don’t have that much experience with layout. But I have a problem. For an exhibition space I needed to draw the shape of a curved wall. So just like I was asked I imported a Sketchup model only consisting of lines. So far that went right, when I adjusted the scale to 1:10 everything went fine.

Now I had to make some adjustments but for some reason when I insert the SketchUp model. It just appears. So far so good. But when I try to adjust the scale to 1:10 my model suddenly disseapears! I only see the blank space the model was i.n. I have no idea what I did wrong and how I can solve it. I hope somebody here can help me. :smile:

Do make sure you really clicked 1:10, not 1"(inch) = 10’ (feet) (just hoping it might be this easy an error ;-))

I selected the 1mm:10mm (1:10) one. I took some screenshots to show you what’s going on:

What scale was the drawing when you first brought it into Layout?

If i’m right it was (1:18.6245) Also, the only Scale that does seem to work is 1:1. When I select another one, for some reason it jumps to 3/4" = 1’-0" (1:16)

Which version of LayOut are you using?
Last I heard of this problem was in a previous version of LayOut…

I use LayOut 3. They also have a newer version here.

Do try and use a newer version. You’re encountering a known bug in LO3, which has been fixed in the newer versions.
