I have a 2019 pro license and it won’t work on my new computer
“ this licence was created on a different computer and won’t work here “
I love sketchup but I only use it occasionally and I fully paid for that licence back then
I am not a professional user anymore but I will like to use sketchup on my new computer
well yeah, old classic licences were linked to a motherboard. so if you change your computer, you’ll need to re-activate sketchup on it using your serial number and authorisation code.
if you’re out of activations, @colin can check if by any chances you have a 2020 available

Among your emails. In the confirmation when you purchased or when you receive a notification about a possible maintenance update.
(If you still can: Don’t forget to Remove licence (Help>Manage License) from the old machine. So don’t exceed the number of computers you can use.)
Removing the license from the old computer will free up one of your activations, which will become important if you want to put SketchUp 2019 onto yet another new computer.
