Materials inferior in sketch up 2025

New material are awful. Very limited choice, what’s with the 3 d icons?

I thought that by 2027 they had sorted out.

If you still have SkketchUp 2024, you can copy them over..

new materials are heavier. therefore you have a smaller sample pre installed. full library is here

in the material list, cubes are for materials with PBR values, flat squares are for old school materials. many people would prefer flat for everything, maybe with a symbol for PBR. we’ll see what comes in the future.
