Material Window : Can we search for material by name?

Is there any possibility to search material name in Material window ?
or Is there any plug for material organizing can be recommended ?

It should be easy find material we would like to reuse to other objects than need to copy from one object and paste to another.

At this moment I use text display to list material name. Problem is I can see thumbnail so it is not easy to find material I am looking for.

It’s now possible to search for a material by name with this free SketchUp plugin: Material Browser. In bonus, with this plugin, you can import a material from Texture Haven or CC0 Textures in 1 click.

Hi Samuel! Here to report that there might be a small issue with your fantastic plugin: if the material name includes the character “-”, the search engine fails to find the material.
I noticed because I have a library of NCS materials which typically are spelled like NCS 2070-Y80R (so there’s the “-” included).
