Material shows up as entirely transparent

I am using SU2024 Pro on Windows 11. Starting a new file using the default style, if I apply the material “Landscaping Fencing and Vegetation - Fencing Lattice Natural” to a face, it becomes totally transparent. If I edit the material, it shows up, and I can scale it etc. but when I apply the changes the whole face is still transparent.
Fence.skp (49.8 KB)

could you share a file that acts that way maybe ?

Show a screen shot of what you are seeing. This is what I get. I did delete the back face of the box.

Tim for a profile update. It says you’re using SketchUp 2019 on Windows 10. Is the graphics card still the same?

Make sure that you have the correct Rendering Style set to show textures and not Xray.

Here is the screenshot. I too deleted the back side face. Also see another material which shows OK as well as what I see when I edit the texture.

Is the graphics card information in your profile correct? Some versions of drivers for AMD graphics cards have had this problem. If you have an AMD (Radeon) card, you could try updating the driver.

Which graphics engine have you got selected in SketchUp Preferences?

I had my graphics card Radeon RX7900 XT selected. When I changed this to AMD Radeon™ Graphics and restarted SU the material shows up correctly. Tomorrow I will update my graphics drivers and revert in preferences to see what happens. Thanks all for the help.
