I have a scanned blue print of a drawing done in 1934 12000 kB.
When I view the scanned drawing 600dpi as JPEG i can read the small text.
When I import this into Layout to markup with new work, resolution is lost and the smaller drawing detail can no longer be read,
Can any one advise or help with this please?
Are you still using SketchUp/LayOut 2020?
In LayOut 2023 and 2024 you can increase the Display Resolution for images in Document Setup. That may help.
Generally it’s better to make .png image files as they don’t have the compression and associated quality loss that .jpg files have.
