Got an error that said to save the model as a previous version using the SketchUp viewer app on Windows desktop. Not sure why my 2020 license would require me to save my model as an older version to view in VR, could someone explain that to me - or is that an error message produced as a result of some other bug/glitch?
I tried a couple more times and it finally did load.
Hi @goodfaith
We recently released the 2.5.31 version of the SketchUp Viewer for VR where we have fixed the issue and the app now supports skp files of version 2020 and later.
Please download the latest version of SketchUp Viewer for VR for use as a Windows PCVR application.
The latest version is also available in the Rift store: SketchUp Viewer on Oculus Rift | Oculus
That means that once you have connected to the Oculus Home (Rift mode) you can go in the Store and look for SketchUp.
I hope that helps,
AK
