License server invalid response

I cannot launch Sketchup. Getting We are experiencing technical difficulties
The subscription server response is invalid. I was in the app earlier today. I have power cycled my PC. Windows based. Pro installed.

  • log-off your user account from SketchUp
  • completely quit SketchUp/LayOut, restarting the system ensures this
  • log-in to SketchUp w/ your registered account (= email address)
