Library issue

Hi,

I have been a Sketchup user for many years and over the years I have built up a fairly large library with various objects that I regularly use in my models. However, for a few months now, I think since the last update around the time that Sketchup 2025 was released, I can no longer see several of my objects in my library and they have been replaced by the Sketchup logo.
I can load them into my model without any problem, but then I have to rely on the name of the object and I can no longer choose based on the view.
Can anyone help me with this?
Is it a setting that I need to change or is there more to it?
I have this with both Sketchup 2024pro and 2025pro.

Hopefully someone of you knows how to solve this.

Thanks in advance

While I cannot help you with your preview issue - check out 5D+ Library. If you are a library guy (and you seem to be), this tool will be super helpful for you to view and access your library with nice big preview icons and lot’s of helpful functions like inserting directly, replacing selected, and so much more. Also cool for materials.

Hi,

Thank you for the tip.
I will test this right away, hopefully this will solve the problem.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I have loaded my entire library into the 5D+ library and everything is visible again.

Thank you, this solved my problem

It‘s an awesome tool, for sure. Many power functions, too!
