Layout wont let me save

I am using latest Sketchup Pro and Layout

Layout wont let me save, I get this error message regardless of what name I use, even ‘untitled’.

Have you tried a different folder? Maybe Dropbox isn’t available.

It’s not a good idea to be saving files directly to Dropbox. Better to save locally and sync the file to Dropbox after.

how did you create the folder with the * in it? Most OS will not allow these signs:
