Newbie here , I have a 3D SU model I want to insert into layout. I select send to layout, layout opens and gives ne a viewport. There are three simple items in the viewport. I can add dimensions in the viewpport . I can resize the viewport. I cannot move any of the items or select them. How do I get the items onto the paper that was selected when Layout opened?
The viewport in LayOut is just an image of the scene you created in SketchUp. If you want to move the entities around in the viewport, you must go back to SketchUp, make the modifiecations, save the file and update the reference in LayOut.
