Layout Linear Dimension Text color keeps reverting to black

I have the default text color for linear dimensions set to blue, but it keeps reverting to black. Is this a known bug?

I can create some linear dimensions, and the color is correct. Then I choose a different tool. When I come back to create linear dimensions again, the color is black. Just the text. The lines remain the correct color.

Layout Version 26.2.243 64-bit, Windows 11.

(I do know how to set the default text color vs the current selection).

yep, known bug, if you select the dimensions while the text panel on the right is open, it tends to bug out.

best solution right now is to close it as soon as you’re done changing font / size. that way id doesn’t bug out as much.

it’s a pain.
