LayOut - Just can't get my line spacing to work properly

Issue - the line spacing changes significantly
A) when editing text in LayOut, and
B) after exporting LO to PDF

Top: how its supposed to look
Bottom: how the PDF looks.

I know this has been an ongoing issue for some, for quite a while, but its getting to the point that it’s ruining my professional projects. What can be done to fix it? I’ve tried all the line spacing settings I can think of, changed fonts, removed certain characters…!

I’m on a Mac but if you post a single page with that behavior in LO I’ll take a look.

I have found breaking up long text boxes when they need to key to graphics is the better way to get this done.

Thanks for the offer but ive already changed the format from a text box style, to a Table.

This means the rows/lines wont move around but it does introduce other formatting and editing limitations.
