Hi, I am trying to insert sketchup pro model into layout and always get a big exclamation mark in the drawing inserted, the model doesn’t appear in the next pages and when I do insert it again can’t change the viewport. I have the same problem in skp 2024/2025. Is this a mac problem?
Most likely the Auto render tickbox is not ticked in the SketchUp Model panel. Tick the box and see what happens.

What’s the render type set to? Share the LO file so we can see what you’ve got.
The auto render has been around for a long time, but with 2025 there was a change, where instead of you having to wait for the viewports to render, it now renders in the background. You can carry on working.
That symbol ought to go away when the background rendering gets to that page.

What Colin said, plus: think of changing the SketchUp model and doing an image export in SketchUp (if you’re doing Raster), or an image export AND a PDF export (if you’re doing hybrid), and for each viewport. So LayOut will be no faster than SketchUp doing all those things… if it’s a lot slower, then something’s weird.
