There have been quite a few bugs since the last SketchUp update.
Now I’m running into the following issue:
I’ve created scenes in my Layout template where tags are either on or off (from a single view in SketchUp, I automatically get one front view of cabinets with fronts and one without fronts in Layout).
Since the latest update, when I send SketchUp to Layout, it applies the tags set in SketchUp to all my views (so all views have fronts).
Is there a solution for this, or do I need to duplicate all my scenes in SketchUp template?
Changed in document the template.skp reference to project.skp. Now all tags are turned on or off - just like in the project.skp file.
Before the update, the tags remained as they were set in layout. So on the left, I had a view without fronts.
The ACCessoires also pop up, so there’s a lot of decoration that shouldn’t be visible in Layout and is slowing everything down.
I haven’t had a lot of time to look or play with it - but I would guess it is related to the Tag Folder issue that happened with the current update. I just encountered it when trying to change line weights in LO but had to explode the Tag folders in SKP to get things to work well in LO. It might be related. Exploding the folders doesn’t help in your case because when they are removed you lose of the entire group of tag.
@Colin might be able to get the right person on the SKP team to look at it.
I think you can roll back to the previous version but I’m not sure where to download that from.
