I am using my last set of building plans and adapting it for my cousin. Page 1 and 2… I simply duplicate page one (plot overview) to make a page called (parcels),… Why can i now not draw a line on the parcel page? I did before , it may be they behind it? I can not call out, or write text?
Also, Why is this website page I am on now , spiting
the screen having a “preview” in real time?

Exactly. You’ve put your viewport on the top layer in the list and you have the layer underneath it active.
Moving the viewport on the second page shows the lines you drew on the Parcels layer.
You have to understand that layers have an order with the content on layers higher in the list placed over content on layers lower in the list. Your viewport should be on a layer that is below the layout on which you want to add drawn content and text.
It’s a shame that you are using the second released version of LayOut which is nearly 15 years old. LayOut has improved considerably since then.
As for the forum, that’s the way it works.
I would suggest removing the LayOut file from your first post since it has your client’s name and phone number. You never know who might be trolling the forum looking for that kind of information.
