Other programs allow you to use a laser to measure and it will automatically enter in the measurement via Bluetooth that the laser sends. Does sketchup have this capability.
For Example: using the pencil tool I click to start the line send it down the red axis, push the button on the laser and inputs the length of the line.
Essentially ill be building the model as I measure.
There are point cloud import extensions.
And I think Leica has a data import extension.
Do a search at some of the laser measure OEM sites on SketchUp, and a search at SketchUp Extension Warehouse.
