Hi there, wondering if anyone can point me to a laser measure that is compatible with sketchup so I can import the data to create my plans? I’m a Landscape architect.
Many thanks,
Emma
Look to the documentation of the laser measure tools as to which file types they export.
• Here’s a list (such as it is) of the file types SU Pro can import and or export.
https://help.sketchup.com/en/sketchup/using-sketchup-data-other-modeling-programs-or-tools
• There are also plugins which can import and or export other file types.

It is difficult to make a choice for you which laser measuring device is suitable for you. As @Geo says it is important to look at what information the laser device can export.
A common output is CSV. SketchUp can handle this very well in combination with a Ruby script. Don’t think in terms of limitations, because with the help of a Ruby script there is so much more possible with SketchUp.
