Large Tool Set Missing Selection Tool

The “Large Tool Set” toolbar stopped including the Selection Tool/arrow. It’s not a big problem, but I’d like to get it back. What do I need to do? Thanks.

Update, I added a screen grab showing the Large Tool Set with no Selection Tool icon (see upper left).

Which version of SketchUp are you using? Please complete your profile.

Thanks, I updated my profile. It didn’t ask about my CPU, RAM??.
I’m using 2019 Sketchup Pro.

[menu] Help->About SketchUp will display the precise version

Thanks Mike, Ver 19.1.174. I’ll put it in my profile.

Perhaps you won’t have that issue with the 19.2 version, which was released a couple of weeks ago.
While logged in your normal user account on Windows,
close all instances of SketchUp (and LayOut)
Rightclick on the downloaded installer file and choose ‘Run as Administrator’
All settings and (properly) installed extensions should be preserved.

Well, for someone who might come along and still want to get the Selection tool back on the Large Toolset, go to View>Toolbars, highlight the Large Toolset toolbar in the list and click the Reset button.

Thanks Mike, I use Thea Render for SketchUp & I read somewhere that 19.2 & that plugin aren’t completely compatible yet, so I’ve been holding off on 19.2.

That did it DaveR. I didn’t use “Reset All” as shown in your picture, but “Reset” and it looks like it worked. I don’t know what I did to delete it in the 1st place.

I’m usually hesitant to use “Reset” in any program & especially “Reset All” but it looks like that’s the right thing here.

Thanks.

As I told you to do…

Reset All wouldn’t have done anything else if none of your other toolbars had been modified.

Yes, thank you - I did read that you said “Reset.” I just wanted to make it clear that I did what you said, not just follow the picture.

Thanks.
