Label Leader Offset

It would be nice to have the ability to create a gap between label leader arrows and the model and still maintain the connection to the model in the same way you can have a gap between extensions lines in dimensions and the model. So something like the labels on the right in this image.

I’d like to be able to have labels with auto text connected to the model which isn’t currently possible.

Can you explain? cause I thought it is possible, at least how I tried it.

If you leave a gap between the arrowhead and the model, Auto Text isn’t available.

If you attach the arrowhead to the model, Auto Text is available.

If you don’t want an arrowhead, there is a Start Arrow option that does leave a gap. Unfortunately it doesn’t work with the arrowhead.
