Label A Component Without Arrow?

I can label components in Layout but I am not able to see how to get rid of the arrow. I could just type the name of it but I would like it to update as the names of the components change. (And they will!) Is it possible to create a Dynamic Label without an arrow? Or, is it possible to delete the arrow and and leader after creating it without breaking the link to the information?

I don’t use Layout much, so there may be a way to turn them off, but you can just set the transparency of the Stroke so they aren’t visible.

I will try that! Thanks!!

I do not see a transparency setting in the Shape Style tray?

Edit the stroke colour and there is a transparency slider at the bottom.

Found it. Thanks again!

That is a tedious situation to get the arrow and such situated so that when you set the transparency nothing shows. It works but whew it is going to take some serious time. Still, Thank you!

I don’t understand, surely you can just select all the labels and edit the stroke in one go.

Illustrating what Box described.

I was only experimenting with 1. Doing them all and then selecting all makes sense!

You could also set the stoke before adding them.

Nice! Thanks!
