"It looks you might be offline" Wont accept license

Hi guys,

I am having issues installing SketchUp 2016 on my laptop. I’ve tried reinstalling three times and it keeps giving me the msg " It looks you might be offline" on the start-up screen. All necessary ports are open.

I have a single license with active m&s 17/05/2017

Can someone help me out please?

program installation as well as first launch of SU by “r-click > Run as Admin”.

If this doesn’t help and if you are using the SU 64-bit version try alternatively if installing the SU 32-bit version works.
