Having some serious difficulty figuring out how to do multiple section planes where i need them

Create the first section then put that or the parts to want to section in a group inside that then section again. There are videos from Aaron and Matt Donnelly. Here is one from Eric.

Please be more specific about the kind of difficulties you encounter,

  • keeping specific section planes active?
  • what needs to be sectioned (inside grouped geometry on not)?
  • how to update scenes to keep the correct section plane(s) active and others not?
  • etc.?

Maybe with a simple informative SketchUp model to explane/demonstrate all options.
