I made a huge sketchup file and imported to layout 40 pages long, but once i finished them, i was told to use Vector rather than Raster style. However, when I changed to vector, the guidelines I used for dimension lines went missing. Is there a way to change all the guidelines to gridlines in one go?

it’ll ignore the infinite guidelines and only convert the normal ones to edges.
edit : I’m confused, you’re using sketchup 2022 with a sketchup for school licence ? man your crak is really outdated…

Hi! Thanks for the reply! I found that the plugin does work, but only with guidelines. Is there a way to make it work with guide point too? Or a plugin to change guidelines to guidepoint?

I see. schools / highschools / universities have access to something called a LAB licence. it allows them to install sketchup pro active without a subscription.
it’s usually a long process, and they don’t necessary update every year.
in this case you’re in luck, the script is old enough to drink (in most of europe at least).

I can ping @TIG but I doubt he has a magic update in his hat. (try to repeat I can ping tig, it’s really hard)
the thing is, you’re not really supposed to use sketchup to add all your dimension, that’s why layout exists. dimensions in sketchup are here to help you while you work. same with guidelines. In layout, you add the dimensions that you plan on exporting, you can even set them up in a style that’ll mimic what you’ve done in sketchup
