I was using the free version of sketchUp on my iPad , when I returned to work on my model only , 5 tools showed up and not possible to see others ? Any help greatly appreciated .
Sounds like you might be in the viewer, not the app.
… or perhaps it was in trial and the trial period elapsed ?

It looks like you solved the problem. You did do the 7 day trial via Apple, which normally carries on to be a yearly subscription. But, I guess you cancelled that one, and have since paid for the monthly subscription. That one expires at the beginning of March, and you may then see only 5 tools again, until you pay for the next month, or year.

They’re the same app, when you’ve paid for a subscription plan you’re able to model on it, otherwise it’s just a viewer.
