Inserting Windows Excel file to LO

Hi All,
I note that the 2017 release allows excel file to be inserted. I have read the ‘how to’ at Adding Tables to a Document | SketchUp Help, but it appears to not work at all. I get the following error message. Can anyone cast some light on this?

“The following file(s) failed to insert:
F:\Michael Wiegmann Design Service\MWDS Current Projects\1173
Austilt - Kingswood\1173 Austilt - Kingswood Project Details & Window
Schedule.xlsx”

Is that Excel file password protected?

Hi JS, No, the file is open. We are just not seeing the “pick your sheet” box.
