Layout - Can No Longer Insert .xlsx file

I inserted a microsoft excel spreadsheet into Layout. Was working fine until yesterday. My changes would no longer update. I deleted the tables and retried to reinsert the spreadsheet. Nothing happens. I select FIle\Insert and choose the file and that is it. No error or anything. I’ve rebooted and reinstalled Layout. Same thing.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Using macOs layout version. Layout 2023. Excel for Mac 16.72

I haven’t had any problems. What does the reference file path look like? How did you insert the .xlsx file? Can you share the LayOut and .xlsx files so we can see what you’ve got going on?
