Insert New text type into SU text choices?

Hi All,
How does one add a text/font to the standard SU set? I Want to use the “Nyala” text/font in my SU drawings and it is not in the standard SU set.

The “standard set” of fonts are the readable fonts installed in the fonts folder with your operating system. They aren’t something supplied with SketchUp. Nyala on my Windows machine is an Open Type file. I believe SketchUp uses True Type fonts.

Thanks Dave, I’ll dabble around a bit, I noticed the Nyala font is in the SU 3D text choices, I’ll check if its in the standard OS font folder, Thanks.
