Importing .step files into SketchUp

Hi SketchUp friends! I’m wondering if any of you are familiar with importing .step files into SketchUp?

We are hoping to import dozens of .step files into SketchUp, but none of them are huge. They will all be individual light fixtures. Nothing too large. Any advice?

Another way is to open in Freecad and export as a .Stl

There’s a plugin that will do the job, it’s paid but it has a free trial period.
