Importing a model as one group

Hi! I am a newbie. I have created my first model, a desk lamp, from watching videos on how to create a lamp in SketchUp. I’ve looked for an answer to this question before posting. Apologies if it’s been asked before.

I’ve exported the model and imported it into Live Model 3D. After importing, I want to change the dimensions of the lamp, but I can’t because the model does not seem to be one group. When I try to change the dimensions in Live Model 3D, each component of the lamp sizes separately, It’s not one object.

I made the model a component. I’ve locked the model. I’ve made it a group. I don’t know what else to try. I’m sure there’s an easy answer, but I haven’t been able to find it, yet.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you, anyway. I figured it out. I needed to export the file as a .dbx file. It’s treated as one object when I import this file. Just like I wanted.
