Imported .dwg not visible, reports entities imported successful

hello
I have been facing this problem since yesterday and I don’t what is the problem. I imported a CAD file last week and everything went perfectly but yesterday I was trying to import a new file it doesn’t show in the SketchUp file.

Is the CAD file a compatible version for SketchUp import ?
For example your SketchUp version might not support the very latest DWG/DXF format ?

Also what settings are you using under Options when importing it - e.g. Not-preserved Origin, Units etc
What units etc is
These can affect the results…

Does it show up in the Component Browser Model tab ?
Are there new Layers [Tags] added from the CAD file
Remember that it might be miles from the SKP model’s origin etc if you [ill advisedly] kept its origin as the CAD model…
As mentioned in my earlier post rogue geometry in the CAD file miles from the rest can case display issues too…

I am using sketchup pro 2019 and i am not being able to import any cad file into sketchup lately. I have attached the cad file and the sketchup file below. Can someone help me with this issue please!!!3D.skp|attachment (106.3 KB)
For 3D.dwg (73.6 KB)

Go View/Edge Style and tick to turn on Edges.

thanks…this was easy,just didn’t think about it.

Hello I’m using Sketchup 2020 and I am not able to import my cad file to Sketchup. I am attaching the cad file below. If someone could please help me that would be great.
test 3.dwg (84.2 KB)

You file is hugely spread out in the z axis.
I flattened it.
Test3 Box.skp (143.7 KB)

Thank you so much!!

Is it possible for you to send me the flattened cad file as well, please.

I didn’t flatten the cad, I flattened it once imported.
I have no access to cad, others may be able to help you.

Okay, Thank you so much!!

I am facing the same problem again importing the cad file to SketchUp (2020). I guess it is immensely spread out, idk how to flatten it. Can you please help me out with the same, attaching
cascade.dwg (339.3 KB)
the cad file below.

Your ‘cascade’ file flatten-SU17.skp (227.4 KB)

You could open the dwg file in Autocad and use FLATTEN command. Or in SketchUp, use Eneroth Flatten to Plane plugin.

Thank you!
