I am using SketchUp Pro for several years now. I think since the last update the thumbnails I used to see in my file list on my iMac were replaced with the sketchup logo. Can somebody tell me how I can get the thumbnails back? Is there a setting I have to change?

No. I think it is something they have to fix.

I still think the ‘they’ is Apple. With macOS Tahoe 26.4, thumbnails are currently working.

The way QuickLook is done was changed a few macOS versions ago. The last several versions of SketchUp do it the new way, which doesn’t involve a QuickLook file that you can find.

I saw what you had written, and so looked up what it is that you should be able to find. The file inside SketchUp.app that does QuickLook is ‘SketchUpThumbnailExtension.appex’.

I have this installed. Sadly no thumbnails.
I do think I had them briefly when I was running the latest beta from TrimbleLabs, but they went away when I removed it.
