I am trying to fix a broken links in my Components Favorites folder

I am trying to fix a broken links in my Components Favorites folder. I created a favorites link to a folder that has sense been moved and I can not remove the old link.

Any Suggestions…

Normally, you select the link in the “Favorites” list, then use the “Details” menu item labeled “Remove from favorites”.

Sketchup doesn’t allow you to delete a favorite when the original folder no longer exists. You have to get in the registry and delete the entry for that favorite. Or re-create the folder then go to sketch up and remove the favorite. I’m not at a computer so I can’t tell you the registry location

Hi

I have the same problem with SketchUp 2018 pro, does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Get the SketchUp 2018 installer file, right click it and choose “run as administrator”. When prompted choose “repair”.

When you start up SketchUp again it should be cleaned up…

Sadly that didnt solve the problem. It restored the previously default favorites (that were deleted) but the ghost folders ar still there.
