Hi,
I’m learning sketchup with vray and I’m trying to create realistic render of some kitchens…
However, my results are not realistic, and I don’t know what to do to improve it.
I attach my project file and my result in jpeg format, hoping for some suggestions.
Thank you!!
Is there something that you think is lacking? It seems like a very good render to me. I generally feel that renders like this look “too clean” for my liking, but as a render of a perfectly clean, staged kitchen area, I think it looks great!
Our kitchen is probably twice as big as that one but I wish we had as much clear counter space.
@ruga98, I think your render is fine enough to give a good impression of the space. If you want to make it more realistic, make the lighting less even, add some entourage: a fruit bowl, coffee maker, bottle of dish soap on the back of the sink, etc. Move the stools so they aren’t like a row of soldiers. Reduce the depth of field a little bit. Things like that.
Thanks for all the suggestions
I added some stuff on the table, played a little bit more with lights, added some material bump map and added a curtain.
This is the new result, I’m happy now, I think is more realistic compared to the first render
