How to import a 2D store plan solution, dwg or cad file, and make it a 3D file?

Hi,

Can anyone explain to me how I can import a 2D store plan solution, dwg or cad file, so that I can make it a 3D file?
How do I ensure that the floor plan has the right dimensions after it has been imported into SketcHup?

Had been happy for an explanation;)

Do you happen to know how I can import a jpg file and make the product in the picture become a 3D model in my SketcUp drawing?

File > Import > JPEG file, and then start modeling the 3D model
