How to get rid of embedded text on my LayOut new page

When ever I open a new file it reads - Carport Walkway. How do I get rid of the Carport Walkway Text. When I save the file the new name appears but so does the text Carport Walkway. Several years ago with an older version maybe 2018 or 2019 I had a file named that.

check your layers. some layers are on one page only, some are on every page. what you describe is a text block on a layer that repeats on every page (they’re selected as brown)

this tells me you made a template that already contained infos.

for more detailed infos, you’ll have to share a layout file with us, so we can check it.

I meant to add the - Carport Walkway. When I save it it is named along with the -Carport Walkway

That’s a page name that was evidently included when you saved the template. Open the template and delete the page name. Then save as a template again.

I’m guessing you made your template from an old project. It would be wise to see what else you left behind and get rid of it.

Thank you I figured it out.
