I would like to create the same new scene (perspective view) in all of my skecthup files.
I have already created 2 scene views but now need to add a new one to all 3 sketchup files.
Is there a way to copy the scene parameters and paste them into another sketchup file scene?
hello,
there is no tool to import/export scenes in sketchup.
However, there are workarounds. The easiest would be to paste in place your copied model from another file into the one you created the scene into
you can also find plugins such as this one : eneroth view memory
not free though, but from the same author, you can use this one too eneroth camera memory
Curic Scene Manager | SketchUp Extension Warehouse
JL Scene Tools | SketchUp Extension Warehouse
Please note that not all extensions listed as free in the Extension Warehouse are actually free.
There is/was a Rick Wilson plugin called “PageExlm” - but the www.smustard.com website no longer appears active - does anyone know anything about that ?
This is the latest that I know:
BTW: I “saw” Rick on another SketchUp related forum a week ago.
Oh gr8 ! Good to know that he’s still around and it sounds encouraging if there’s to be a “relaunch” I have several of his plugins that for the moment (fingers crossed) still work in SU2025 !
You can also set up a template with the scenes you want and drop a model into it.
Advanced camera tools allows you to copy and paste the physical camera into another model. Look through that camera and save the scene. You will need to manually update the other aspects of the scene (tags, shadows, etc).
Have just downloaded that extension and will look at it. thanks

It works very well. I have been using it for years.
