How do I remove emitter materials/qualities?

Hi, I’m trying to figure out how to make the bathroom areas not so bright in my rendering.

What renderer?

V-Ray

It’s a good idea to include that important information in your original post. I added it a keyword to the subject.

Okay thanks, I’m new to the forum so wasn’t sure what to all add.

Well, for something like your question, it’s important to identify the tools you are using. Including things like render and material settings would help, as well. It’s also helpful to include the .skp file so folks who might help you could see exactly what you are working with.

Okay, awesome. Added the .skp file to the original post

looks like you have assigned an emitter material/quality to a certain color/texture which is why the backs of all the doors are glowing. That same material is probably applied to many surfaces in the bathroom too, hence its brightness?.

Hmm weird, not sure how I would’ve done that as I’m not familiar with emitter materials/qualities.

How can I get rid of or remove the emitter quality?
