Hello, I want to model this white pillowy structure. How do I do it with free extensions? Pillow models from 3D warehouse do not have the exact proportions I want.
There is no free version of SketchUp that can use extensions. Are you using a cracked version?
We can have a Sketchup license and want to use free extensions.
I was not asking that. xiaoee’s profile says he/she is using a free version of SU 2022. That doesn’t exist.
Ah, I’m in a hurry to model this so I filled in the information spontaneously in order to post here. I don’t have my own PC/laptop so I work on my coursemate’s and didn’t really double check those information when filling them in, didn’t know they mattered. My coursemate just clarified with me that its SU Pro 2024. Sorry, I’m new to this software to begin with.
If you are new start here:
Thanks, but this doesn’t really help with what I specifically want to do? I’ve watched tutorials of people using clothworks to make a pillow shape but that’s a paid extension. I’m having trouble making a copy of the shape that is in the photo I posted. Most pillow models tapers to a flat edge on the side and I don’t want that. The structure in the photo has a lot of thickness on the sides and I’m not sure how to model that together with a fluffy top and bottom.
Maybe the Soap Skin & Bubble extension would be of help.

If you don’t need all the fine wrinkles, you could just draw the profile and use follow me around a rectangle. That’s what I would do to get the general shape, and it would be quite accurate.
